The Grounds and the main house are well worth a vist. Plenty of nice comfortable seating areas both indoors and outside in the main house for a night cap , early morning relaxed coffee or just sitting with friends for a drink. Good easy car parking. Close to the town. Quite no traffic noise. A delightful hotel in other words

The room was very dirty, cobwebs in the bathroom black mould on the windows, filthy waste bin, taps that need cleaning, dirty floor, the kettle that was so dirty it need replacing. A very pleasant amicable meeting with the manger on duty resulted in a bottle of cleaner being left on the bathroom windowsill and no reserve toilet paper. On our final day there was no housekeeping att. There has been no response to e-mails sent after our visit. This is a delightful hotel that has the potential of meeting it’s 3-star rating, possible even a 4-star rating, at the moment based on the standard of our room during our stay it is worthy of any stars. Breakfast was mediocre, not really 3-star hotel standard more in line with airport hotels. Check in is ridicules, we were greeted by big touch screens that we needed assistance with. Express check in is the term, we expected a nice warm welcome by friendly reception staff.

We booked for 3 people and there was enough space for us. There were 4 beds and we stayed in room 302. The bathroom was nice and the place was really clean. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to leave our stuff at the reception while exploring the rest of London

The big shower head in our room didn't work correctly and didn't have a very strong water pressure. I would open the windows if you had small children with you as there were no stoppers on the windows and you could easily fall through them. The only one with a stopper was the bathroom window. It doesn't have disability access. Yes the place has a lift but it didn't work and there was no disability access to the reception, just stairs.

I have stayed here about 4 years ago but it is now beginning to look shabby both inside and outside. Rendering is falling off and the paintwork is peeling on the external timber. It is OK for a stopover but wouldn't be my first choice.
