  The staff were all very nice and the room was nicely decorated. The location was ideal for me and as the weather was lovely and sunny, the outdoor seating was really nice for a drink after checking in.

  The cleanliness wasn’t great. There were big cobwebs in my room (at eye level, not unreachable), spilled coffee on the wall that hadn’t been cleaned up, hairs by my pillow and the duvet cover was torn. There is very little sound proofing in the rooms. I could hear entire conversations from next door and they really weren’t being loud. The springs in the mattress felt very old and very soft.

  It wasn’t clean , quite dated and there was an awful lot of stuff not either broken or needed renewal. The towels were tatty, the dressing gowns torn , fan in bedroom not working, bathroom door hanging off and dangerous
