Great choice for a stay before early morning flight. Shuttle bus service (fee) operates to airport terminals. We arrived from train station, signage not fantastic but after directions from a helpful taxi driver we found the hotel Bedroom was as expected, small but functional, tea/coffee and water all provided. Bed was reasonably comfortable but pillows weren’t Bathroom was compact but did include a bath.

Pillows The main issue was water pressure and temperature impossible to wash hair - it would have taken 20 mins to rinse. As long as you are aware and can cope with a quick wash in morning then it will be fine

Previously to this stay we had room service for breakfast and the food was stone cold. This time we decided to eat breakfast in the restaurant and we encountered the same result. Extremely poor considering we entered breakfast at opening time. I would definitely not recommend the breakfast especially at the cost. It’s a real shame as we have dined in the restaurant in the evening many times and the food is exceptional.

When we arrived after a brutal 36 hour door-to-door journey from Australia, there was no one around at the property and it was not possible to find someone to talk to about not being able to enter the property. In the lead up to our stay I received gushing emails about how thrilled the host would be to welcome us to the property, I thought these emails were over the top in the way they were written. In reality, there was no one around to greet us or even to talk to us about entering the accommodation at the rear of the house. I found a phone number that went to a Philippine based agency who began by saying that they could not release the entry details until they received some kind of confirmation. After a long discussion and some phone calls they eventually gave me the key location and we were able to enter the accommodation. Once inside, we found the room to be extremely clean and was to a very high standard. However, the place is tiny, with a living floor area of only around 4 square metres once the bed is let down to the sleeping position. We spent the entire stay trying to move chairs and suitcases around so that we could move around or open the bathroom door etc. The bed is like a weekend temporary guest bed and was very uncomfortable, especially for a long stay. I would not recommend this place for a stay of more than a couple of days, but for a weekend away it would be fine. I think the host really needs to improve the way guests are greeted and are able to enter the property! Also, the place really needs a table and chairs just outside the room so people can relax outside, as once the bed is lowered there is nowhere to sit down and eat. There are very old chairs at the other end of the garden, but these are not near and not in good condition.

We used the swimming pool and my husbands trainers were stolen while we were swimming. No locks for lockers were provided or offered.
