Positive section of review
Saturday staff (managers) was very welcoming and helpful. Short staffed but she and on roster staff worked hard to make all welcome. Bar overflowing due to cup football match but as I stated staff worked hard and fast to keep the area running smoothly. Over all a fair stay over the two days but young staff need to have more customer training or guidance.

Weekend staff (morning) were abrupt and rude. Did not (or seemed not to) listen to us, behind the bar and reception staff we were ignored and they walked away from us. Young male did when confronted at reception gave an apology stating he did not mean to be that way or come across that way. But he did not apologise first until we raised the issue.

Breakfast was good. The room looked newly refurbished, and had some issues with the hand basin in the en suite - it was too small, and the glass shelf above could be a hazard when bending over the sink.

The price £40 for two adults for 2 nights worth the money I would go back staff was friendly only saw 1 a male and only saw him once but I would go back for the price

Room wasn’t ready when we got there but only had to wait 5 mins the bed was stained and duvan on its last legs but mattress topper and bedding was clean 1 toilet roll that was already half used window did not shut properly had to sit on the toilet at a angle cos the sink was way to close to it the room needed a good paint paint peeling of the skirting all over

The location to all amenities, shops, restaurants and public transport was fantastic 👌. The bed was very comfortable.

The inside is very dated and looks dirty. The utensils in the kitchenette were very old, and some of them were dirty. I boiled the kettle and re washed what I needed to use. There was a constant unpleasant smell (of old cooking oil) in our room and flies, 4 on the first day, 6 the second, and 10 the 3 day. This apartment, sorry to say, was not value for money.

The first night we stayed was lovely very quite and very comfortable.

2nd night we stayed we was very disappointed and tired as there had been a wedding there that day and they was alot of noise still at 3 o'clock in the money. Drunk lady calapsed at the front entrance had to call for an ambulance and children wouldn't go to sleep because they was scared someone would come into our room.
