  The hotel was in Central London and within walking distance to many tourists attractions. There were several restaurants near the hotel and if you walk towards Charlotte Road, you will find even more options.

  The room was really small and the shower was a little cubicle like in a cruise ship. It’s ok for a single person but I think it will be really tight for a couple.

  The grounds were very nice. We liked the fact that there was a bar and restaurant. Our stay was pleasant. The staff we had contact with were very helpful.

  We never received any contact from Hengar, so had no idea where to go when we arrived. I sent a message, but got no reply. The staff in the bar and restaurant went in search of our reservation and were able to find it. Our room with two single beds had very little room to move and we hit our shins on the bed frames more than once.

  The smell was disgusting; dead rotting rats. The room had fleas. The walls smashed plaster, fitrings falling of the wall. Broken shower. Outside sewer running into the street. Out of date fire safety equipment. Eventually I was promised a refund, but I am still waiting from booking.com
