The bed was big and comfortable and large spacious room, everything was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, we left our cases in storage when we arrived earlier than check in, we also left our cases on our last day to do a spot of shopping before home, the location was brilliant, could not have asked for a better hotel would definitely stay again for the price we paid of £89 for one night this included complementary croissants and tea and coffee in the morning, the rooms also had double plug sockets either side of the bed, plenty of lights and a lovely tall mirror with a light around it, plenty of hanging space for clothes, had iron and ironing board and hairdryer, the shower was also lovely and big with shower gels and hand soaps etc, tea and coffee with chocolate biscuits and kettle, everything we needed for our stay, also lovely air conditioning in the room

Breakfast was nice but did not pay extra for the cooked. Good to have free parking in centre of truro. Rooms basic but clean and everything we needed was provided . Great staff and good restaurant

Room was very hot at night . Window didn't appear to open. A fan was provided but not suitable to have fan running while you're trying to sleep

very cheap independent hostel in a beautiful large house in a beautiful quiet location, a wonderful retreat and for roaming the lakes. incredibly cheap.

Provide for hot drinks but kettle in cupboard with no place to make them, limited storage space for clothes. Bed very high, Bath robes very small.
