The hotel is very centrally located. The lobby and bar and other common areas are very well themed. The room we had was lovely and big with a big comfortable bed and everywhere seemed very clean you could smell the cleaning going on in the morning!! The lighting controls over the bed were very much appreciated!

The bedrooms themselves while big are a little bit stark and empty. Even just a couple of more pieces of beatles art/pictures would make a big difference.

That we were able to have both our cat's in our room for the night at a reasonable price. So they were safe and cosy.

Wifi was fast. Managed o get parking right outside as it was a Saturday night. Outside area looked ok.

Little flies all around the window. Knives dirty. Toothpaste on bathroom unit. Shower head and handles dirty. Bedding for sofa bed was dirty although stuff replaced. No bottom sheet. Had to contact management a couple of times. Room was apparently soundproofed but not in front with sofa bed and no blinds for the front window 2nd picture is of storage room at back where we assume bedding is washed

Breakfast menu attractive and good. However, the quality was spoilt cold plates and Luke warm food. Most of the staff were good. On two nights there was only three of us left in the bar, and it was made obvious that they wanted us to leave so they could close!! And it was only 9.30pm

Very run down. Our room wasn’t a double as requested. We asked for a double and were told it would be sorted. Got to room and door lock broken. Couldn’t lock it. Moved to another room. A twin yet again. Again told we would get it changed to a double bed. Nothing. Ended up doing it ourselves. Whilst in the new room there was no remote control so went to previous unlockable room to get that one. This was working but broken. The new room was in a terrible state. We had to kill about 8 moths that just kept appearing from nowhere on the bed and in the towels in the bathroom. When we were leaving the next day we pulled the bed forward and it was clear they don’t clean behind them . There was an old sweet and an insect of some sort which was alive. Looked like a mini roach. The furniture was dusty mirrors streaky and the shower was broken the head wouldn’t stay up and the holder was broken. The toilet seat moved when you sat on it. The curtains were stained and dirty. There was black mould all around the windows and the plaster was cracked and had holes almost to the brickwork. Disgusting if we hadn’t have had a drink we would have driven home and not stayed. We left way before checkout. No staff to be seen anywhere! Seriously think conditions in the prison in Wrexham would be more appealing! Absolutely terrible.
