The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

It was close to St Pancras. It was fairly clean in the room generally although there were a couple of problems. The shower and other sanitaryware looked new. So a decent bathroom albeit small. Chocolates, biscuits and earplugs in your room. The keycode you are sent worked fine. No probs at all. You have to use it on two doors and then your own room door as well so security is decent in my opinion.

I found four long hairs in my bed. Some other people seem to think their bedding wasn't changed before arrival. I don't know if that's true or not. The bedding and towels seemed clean other than the hair. It's difficult to drag your luggage up the narrow stairs. There's no lift. It's noisy because there's a busy road outside. A lot of hooting. Also you can feel the vibrations from the underground. This isn't really the hotels fault and it does calm right down after midnight. The worst thing for me was the very poor mattress. I could have lived with everything else. Two old thin worn out mattresses pushed together for your double bed. The springs and frame digging into your body. It used to be a hostel and I wonder if they've just kept the old beds and mattresses. This really is crucial to have decent beds as otherwise you've no chance of a decent nights sleep. I had a long 11 hour journey and I was knackered because I only managed a couple of hours of broken sleep. I wouldn't use again unless they got new mattresses. If they did I would probably use again for the convenience for the Eurostar.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were outstanding, all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. We had dinner in bar and in the restaurant , food and service were excellent in both. The staff are the success of the hotel.

Everything was perfect.

The property exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean, packed with amenities, located strategically in the town center and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils as well as a washing machine.

There was no onsite parking. Nearest car park was a 6-minute walk and cost 9 pounds. TV reception was very poor.
