Convenient for Zeffirelli's. Very welcoming staff and a friendly atmosphere. Tea and coffee provided and just as expected. No TV in the room -a blessing. Bedding and towels all clean and of good quality. Lively bar downstairs but not noisy on the first floor. I wish the new owners well.

1. The shower would be too high for some. It was fine for me at 5' 10" but a child would need help to reach the shower head. 2. The floors are pretty uneven, which sets the bed at an angle. We felt like we were sleeping uphill and so altered the furniture to allow us to swap ends in the bed. That worked well but it is not what you expect to have to do. 3. The building is old which is of course gives the place a certain character, but when one climbs the stairs the baluster rail feels tacky. That is not a good feel. Tacky is never good. Final remarks: Renovation is promised in Jan 2025. I hope it makes the right changes.

There is no mirror in the room, and I have to come out of my bedroom to use the mirror. The corridor light is inconvenient to my room, and the door to the bedroom is hard to open. You need to work on it. This morning, I struggled on where to drop the bedroom key, send a text, and until now. No one has acknowledged the text message. I believe you can do best..

Location close to Heathrow airport, comfortable room, pleasant modern decoration.

Shame you can't walk to airport easier- quickest route is through tunnel, which has no pedestrian access, so taxi or bus needed.

The room was small, and the bathroom was very small . And smells. At breakfast, the staff did not understand, so we did not receive .one cooked breakfast .
