Check in was easy and ready before the time I was due, bed was clean and comfortable. Room was clean and basic. Tea and coffee etc was supplied. Staff were great, especially the receptionist , think it was Nathan. Drinks were cheaper than I expected. I read some bad reviews but it was much better, will be looking to return later in the year. I didn’t use the restaurant or see the entertainment as I was out all day. The hotel position is perfect.

So clean and comfortable. Great location very close to sea front. Fabulous cottage with lovely comfy beds and lovely bedlinen, well equipped bathroom and kitchen area with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Huge TV with wall to wall seating in the TV room. Lovely kitchen diner area. Huge en suite bedroom downstairs.

The gentleman who opened the door for me (I arrived later than scheduled, though I did let them know as soon as I was able) was very courteous and helpful, even carrying one of my bags up to my room. The bed was comfortable, and the room spotless. Very convenient for the airport bus.

In a phone call earlier, I had been promised an upgrade to a room with a window on the first floor; certainly, I got the room with a window, but had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to it. I'm 76 and have a heart condition ... Also, the heating went off shortly after my arrival, and the only bedding was a summer-weight duvet; no extra blankets were provided. Temperature in Aberdeen that night was -1°, I was too cold to get any sleep

Everything was excellent with our stay, the bed was very comfortable, facilities, bar, breakfast were all excellent. Very good value for money, if I go back to Bournemouth I would definitely stay again.

Do not book this hotel if you have to get up for an early flight. Claims the rooms are well soundproofed but this is not the case. Was in a room above the bar and had loud music way too late.. Reception were no help at all.
