When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Tiny but well designed rooms. Comfy bed. Good quality bed linen. Spotlessly clean. Air con in rooms. Friendly, professional and very helpful staff. 5 min walk from Kings Cross. My room was very quiet and I would have given full marks but my friend had some noise in her room- perhaps from neighbours heating or air con..

My friend had a disturbed night due to noise. Hotel staff said they would investigate.

Great location in Glenridding with easy access to start/finish a climb of Helvellyn. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and good bathroom with big hot shower. Breakfast buffet was nice and they have a good bar/casual restaurant attached.

Bit of a maze, easy to get lost and breakfast doesn't start until about 8am which isn't ideal if you want to get an early start on a hike.

We arrived just before 10pm. The lady working on reception/bar was great, very friendly and told us everything we needed to know about our stay and travelling into central london.

Good Thai meal. Helpful staff. Prepared a breakfast in our room - fruit/croissants as we had to leave at 7 am to go to Heathrow and this was before hotel breakfast time.

Our bathroom was not en-suite. We had to leave our room to cross corridor to use it

Beds were very comfy, the Parking is very convenient and the CCTV surveillance gives peace of Mind.

The shower was slightly underpowered but that is expected as it is an Electric Shower but it made up the fact it was really warm.

Booked a double room. Got given two single beds with two single mattresses, shoved together, one 6 inches higher than the other. Very firm mattresses that were uncomfortable, view of the kitchen, shower that takes 5 minutes to warm up. The place was not busy, no idea why we were given the worst room in the place. That aside, you should not advertise and let people book a double room and provide such poor facilities in the room. Shame, as the location is good and I was considering it as a venue for our 20 man golf outing. Based on our experience, we won't be booking.

The bar and restaurant was stated as being open. … the bar opening times Monday to Saturday 4.30pm till late but we arrived at the hotel at 8.26 pm and it was darkness !! Nothing open … we were advised the restaurant wasn’t open but expected the bar to be and booked on this basis !!! Their website states Monday to Saturday 6pm to 8.30 restaurant open but not the case atall … be careful as you may not get what you expect
