Positive section of review
Firstly the room was "huge". Contained a double and two singles so more than adequate for a couple. Room was very clean especially taking into account the size of the room and that it was a very old property with oak beams. Had all the facilities you would need, WiFi, TV, alarm clock, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, desk area. The staff was really friendly and although we didn't eat in the restaurant we did visit the bar for a drink and the bar man was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was wonderful and the lady serving, possibly Wendy (?) was very attentive without being overbearing. In conclusion, we would definitely be looking to book again when in the area. Highly recommended.

The only issue we had, and is only a very small one was the bathroom. Shower over bath was a little difficult to get to the right temperature and the toilet took a few attempts to flush. But these were minor issues.

Location was great. We didn't plan to stay the night in brighton but had car issues and only place affordable left to stay. The stairs get very steep when reaching the top. I would stay again but on the lower floors

1. Lack of mattress and pillow protectors for hygiene. Linen not great quality so sheets kept coming off reveling stains 2. Lack of kitchen equipment so we couldn't cook e.g. sharp knifes, pans, Cork screws etc. 3. Plug in kitchen doesn't work and no bowl so couldn't wash up, just rinse under the tap. 6. Lack of seating (only 3 people could sit and watch tv)
