Positive section of review
Fantastic room, well placed for easy access to and from the coach station. Frequent buses all around, including to and from the train station. The hosts were fantastic and were able to accommodate a few requests, including a luggage hold. Room was quiet and full of natural light, including a sink in the room.

The sink was weak, and didn't have any cold water, but we were on the very top floor. Pressure in the shower is non existent, but is fine for a short stay. Room got very hot during the day.

Breakfast food selection was outstanding. Staff was able to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs. The supper was very good. The dinning room staff was very helpful. The menu selection was limited but those we ordered was cooked very well. The kitchen is an asset to the hotel.

The time to serve food could be improved. The arrangement of tables in the breakfast room could not be maximized due to the style of chairs used.

The hostess set an easy-going, friendly atmosphere, and the guests talked together and with her at breakfast. She also helped with local information. The room had a calming simplicity. I was able to get an evening meal after coming in on the ferry. It was Sunday, and some places were shut.

Very welcome greeting from staff and engaged with us about our stay. Staff went the extra mile with a numbered happy birthday banner and room upgrade for my special birthday I was celebrating with my mum. It added to my experience and made a great trip even better.

The locations was great, being lochside made for a beautiful stay. The food and restaurant was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was a bit slow and we had over an hour weight for food (but it was nice when it arrived) The Prosecco was expensive. The property was a bit dated and could do with some TLC.

The location is great. It is very close to beach, a children's play area, and a few good restaurants nearby. Room is spacious.

The facilities are a bit outdated, particularly for the water heater in the bathroom. The rooms would require some renovation. And there's no elevator.
