Location for anfield stadium. Also, prior to staying I noticed some new but poor reviews to do with cleanliness. Before our stay I asked the accom provider to ensure it’s cleaned. And they responded saying they will see to that, which they did. When we turned up it smelt fresh and all the windows were open.

Initially had issues getting access as it’s self check in and called the number and left voicemail - the call was never returned. In the end we did get in. But had we not have…. And we had been travelling for 4 hours…. The call was still not returned nor a response in a timely fashion when we had plans that evening. I’d have expected some communication out of courtesy to ensure all was ok? Also there was no toilet roll. Sent a message but was asked to check all cupboards which we originally did anyway. We ended up buying our own loo roll! I advised the accommodation provider that we did. They never responded again nor call which I think is poor service. No phone signal in the property. The TVs didn’t work. Loads of window condensation so had to keep them slightly open (bad for damp) - just reminded me of stories of hmos or old council owned property. Considering how much we paid for one night, we expected better.

Beautiful cottage located by the harbour. Helpful owner, who gave us all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable. The cottage was clean, bright and furnished tastefully.

Beautifully renovated building. Great location between the waterfront and the city centre. An extension of Morgan's Hotel, which has a great bar and where breakfast is served.

Arriving late there was no indication that this is part of Morgan's Hotel across the road. The entryphone goes to a number which wasn't answered until the 4th attempt. It would be easy to have a sign on the door, or add in the welcome mail how to check-in by just walking into the hotel opposite.

It was close to everything shops restaurants the new forest and walking trails dog friendly the staff were so friendly the breakfast was top notch

Low point is the old Windows. can't be closed well and noise and cold enter through the window.... Breakfast is expensive for what is it.

The location was ideal for what we needed.

The breakfast was poor and very basic, not a huge choice in the cooked breakfast. The bacon was fatty and dry, the scrambled egg was dry and rubbery. The shower didn't drain very well so couldn't use the shower properly. People before us has obviously let the water flood over the shower tray and this had caused the carpet in front of the bathroom door to become soaked. The smell of damp carpet was unpleasant.

Room is very small for three persons. No space to keep clothes, smell of alcohol all times, full of noise almost whole night.
