Very good value - given the massive prices rises across the Highlands since the pandemic. Buffet breakfast was good, plenty of fresh fruit salad & croissants as well as all the usual Scottish cooked items. Very nice staff throughout, very professional & courteous - although I had a very reasonably priced room that costv less than many 'hostels' now charge, I felt the whole atmosphere & treatment of guests was first class. I felt well looked after. Nice bar meal in the evening & gorgeous large quiet lounge area with views across the Loch. I'd recommend it to other solo travellers.

Nothing really. Just for my first night I was in a room (235 I think) with thin walls & the heavy snorer next door kept me awake.

Breakfast was fine. Perfectly acceptable choices. Sit in the second room and don’t wait until the last minute to come down. Last minute booking for just one night due to flight cancellations by airline company. A bit noisy from people walking around in the room overhead but they stopped at a very reasonable hour. Room itself was very quiet. Really appreciated the kindness of the staff members.

The location was ideal for our break, the staff were friendly and attentive. The suite was clean and had everything thing needed
Negative section of review
Everything was fine, the buildings were looking a little bit tired, but this was obviously being addressed with maintenance taking place. This is not a complaint, just an observation. This didn’t affect our stay in any way

The carpet was dirty the safe wasn’t secured to the wardrobe and there wasn’t any water in the room. A few tweaks and it would be lovely.

1. Extreme humidity, so that all of our clothes, toilet paper, even the walls were wet. One of us got sick because of that. Wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold. The stuff was not helpful with solving that/changing the room. 2. We were given the basement room with no view, such things have to be disclosed when you make a reservation. 3. When booking (several weeks in advance) we asked for an extra duvet, out comment was simply ignored. When we arrived they told us they didn’t have extra. The least they could do is to inform about that in advance, so that we could take something with us. 4. Bed was too short. We are 158-162 and the bed was short even for us. 5. Charged extra 50 pounds for «broken fridge» which is not the case, but the hotel ignores the messages and questions.
