The rooms are always clean though we paid to upgrade to a family room and the room was extremely small, staff said they couldn’t move us to another room,

Really disappointed as we have stayed numerous times before, paying the hotel directly and not through booking.com, we turn up and the family infront children all get handed a welcome bag with some colouring and a little teddy bear. My son who is 2 saw this and got excited thinking he would get one next. We were told because we didn’t book through the hotel he wouldn’t be getting them. Obviously this wasn’t a great start and left my toddler who is too young to understand really why he wouldn’t be getting a teddy like the other children. I understand booking.com takes fees but when your paying £300+ for a room a teddy bear for my child wouldn’t go a miss, especially as we are returning customers. Anyway that’s that, it left a bitter taste in our mouths, the rooms are always nice some a lot smaller than others but it’s luck of the drawer. The spa could really do with some money spending on it, doesn’t really feel that clean and it’s always a bit dingy. The jacuzzi was pretty much freezing cold too.

Good location as a base for exploring. Easy access to Aberfeldy & surrounding areas. Good breakfast.

Duvet was too.lightweight Asked for an extra duvet for my second night. We returned after 1130 pm - it had not been provided so I.used the spare bath towel as a coverlet and was ok

I get it we need to be kind to the enviroment but i'd missed a flight and was staying just a matter of a few hours to get a flight first thing in the morning, the internet and lights are turned off at 10pm, i had stings i needed to sort out on a laptop and this was extremely unhelpfull. Also there is only hot water after 5.30am, i left the property at 5am so starting the day with an ice cold shower when its already cold outside is a disasterous start to the day.
