  Lovely comfortable accommodation located at the rear of a Greek restaurant in the town center with all mod cons catered for. Despite some reviews complaining about the beds, I found these more comfortable than the one I have at home. A nice touch was the Greek bread and dips on arrival. Parking was across the road on a pay and display, best bet is to pay online to save you getting up early every morning to buy a new ticket. Ellesmere has most of the amenities such as a proper delii and butcher on your doorstep, not your supermarket rubbish. Can recommend the Red Lion pub if you only want a meal as they don't seem too interested if you go in just for a drink. The White Hart is an excellent old school traditional pub (no food) with very friendly locals who make you feel most welcome. Plenty of walks for the dog along the canal and the Meres

  Absolutely lovely little cabin at the end of hosts garden. Completely private with an area out front to sit and eat or have a drink. Inside absolutely everything you need and an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. So peaceful. Gina is a wonderful host! Highly recommended if you need somewhere to stay in the area.
