  Great location, easy parking and excellent staff. Restaurant had limited menu but had the best chicken caesar salad I have ever tasted. Room booked had a double bed but we actually wanted twin beds. The manager changed it to a family room with no fuss. Great customer service.

  Self-service check in was easy to miss in the entrance foyer. Room 14 had a very uninspiring view of the kitchen yard. An air conditioning unit on the outside wall made it feel we were on a cross-channel ferry. All minor niggles, nothing that spoiled our stay.

  Proximity to the centre of Harrogate. The fact that the window opened...a priority for me. I like fresh air in bedroom!

  Breakfast was lovely. Good selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The room was booked for 2 guests however there was only 1 bottle of showergel, shampoo and bar of soap. There was also only 1 bottle of water in the fridge, 1 pack of biscuits and not enough milk. for 2 guests I would expect 2 of everything, I wouldn't expect to share a bottle of water and have to skimp on the shower gel so that it lasted for the 2 of us.
