The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We had a private bathroom (toilet and sink), which we weren't expecting and were very happy about. There was a skylight and the room was nice. You could only hear other guests in the hallways, so it was quiet most of the time. I wouldn't want to walk around the area alone at night but it wasn't bad, there were children playing out on the street and a park down the road. We enjoyed the city a lot!

It was quite warm in the room (23°C in Newcastle), but the host did keep the window open for us in advance which was very considerate. The bathroom door didn't have a lock, or a handle on the inside, so you couldn't close it properly. The beds were definitely cheap but we both slept fine. Lots of stairs

The staff were very friendly and lovely to chat with. The food was really nice too. I liked that the rooms were tidied daily and the coffee tea and sugar were replenished.

The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. There were 2 grids outside the Windows which clanged every time cars went over them which was often. There were lots of noise from the room above and in the car park so I turned the tv up, there was then a knock on the door asking to turn it down as there had been a complaint, which I found quite funny and annoying. So I turned it down to then have to lie there listening to someone in the throes of passion, in one tone, for over half an hour. I get very grumpy when I only have 3 hours sleep. This is the third time I have stayed here, but we don't think we will be staying again.

Perfectly located. Very clean and freshly renovated

I like to open windows and sleep with the fresh air flow. Hotel’s windows have stopper and you can’t open the window widely. Just a few hangers in the room. Usually couple needs more. Small table at the room. We had business trip and had to work.
