Leslie & Steven were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed their passion about the guesthouse and their welcoming care. Room was very clean and well equipped with tea and coffee facilities. Extra plus for the freshly prepared breakfast, which offers good vegetarian options as well.

The bedroom has been shoddily decorated & the bathroom was not cleaned to an acceptable standard and needs considerable attention. The bar staff were unhelpful and surly, the bar was dirty and unwelcoming

The entrance round the back of the pub is a bit dismal. It needs a bit of a tidy up. Also gate didn’t close properly.

The property had not been cleaned to a very high standard. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and the surfaces and several areas were dirty. Cutlery in the draw wasn't clean either. I would suggest that the en-suite carpet is replaced. It was a bit smelly!

The room wasn’t particularly clean, there was pencil on the walls from the previous head board. There were no pillow cases on the pillows and they got our bill wrong which we had to sort out.

loads of ants left key as insructed but got a phone call at the funeral asking where I'd left the key!!! no soap in dispenser over bath
