The loveliest host you will ever meet. She was more than welcoming, accommodating to my special requests, and mostly stayed out of my way so it often felt like I had the house for myself. I really liked the room, more than enough for a few nights, and even though it was quite far from the city center, there is a bus stop basically right next to the house, so it was easy to travel to. The area was also nice and quiet, so it was easy to sleep at night. Definitely one of the best places to stay in London!

The WiFi wasn't very strong; maybe an extender could help for future guests? The only one thing I would improve was communication about check in and check out, so the guests know in advance (for example knocking on door/using doorbell/calling the host for check-in, or leave the keys in the door for check out).

Really friendly staff. Clean and tidy room good sized room. We arrived quite early and we're able to get into our room. Plenty of coffee and tea provided and a sea view. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was excellent for evening meals or lunch. Really extensive menu and a very good chef. Location on the seafront couldn't have been better. Would definitely stay again

I stayed in the eco pods, they were much better than expected very cosy, romantic and comfortable. Breakfast was good could have been better on our part if we hadn’t of had a lay in haha! So missed out on a few things. Staff were lovely and helpful. Not a bad word about anything. Pool and spa was amazing

Very large, comfortable rooms, with nice garden views; looking out over the horse racetrack in the distance. A short drive from the city centre (or a 40 minute walk) with a few pubs and a National Trust garden nearby. The pool and sauna were a nice way to start the day!

The pool needs a bit of maintenance (some mossy patches!) but nice nonetheless. The hotel spreads over a large area so has some very long corridors to get to your room that wouldn’t be great with reduced mobility.

We arrived early as we needed to get to our friend's wedding and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was also lovely with a great sized bathroom. Would recommend!

We had extreme difficulties to contact the owners to tell us the access code to the key locker. This was a last-minute booking for the same day, but the owners themselves were unavailable until 6:30, well after the earliest check-in time of 4pm. The only phone number available from either Booking.com or their own web site, a mobile number, went to answer phone with the message, more or less, not to leave a message! We hung around at home for an extra hour, but eventually, it only being a 40-min drive, we chanced it and found a friendly permanently resident neighbour who helped us contact the cleaner whom we could convince to divulge the access code. Otherwise, we might have had to return home. The cooker hood did not work, neither fan nor lights. We sent a text at 5pm on our first full day, and got an answer next morning that the "the housekeeper will check today". A housekeeper never showed up before the end of our stay, two days later.

Cleanliness was bad. Dirty towels left on the bathroom floor Dirty towel left on the bedroom door. Plates and cutlery were still on the side of the sink they had not been put into their drawers etc. very little storage space in the double bedroom as the wardrobe was over half full of trunk, bedlinen and wash basket

My shower was boiling hot and would not go colder, not nice when the weather was 20 degrees!
