I love many things about the hotel! 1) The price & convenience - it's reasonable for a one-night stay as I had an early morning flight to catch the next day. 2) The cleanliness - the toilet and bathroom are well-cleaned including the kettle! 3) The staff - when I was checking in, there was a guest who came down with her kettle and requested for a change as the kettle was not up to her standard, the staff agreed to a replacement with no question asked and the staff (a young boy of Indian race if I got it correctly) is full smile! He is so friendly and helpful! Overall, the room is comfortable and my entire experience is superb. I will make this my default hotel every time I have an early flight to catch.

I can't find any honestly. I did not use the WiFi because I have my own and I did not try the breakfast since I have a rather early flight to catch. If I really have to, I guess I can mention that there were 2 ironing boards in my room which I wasn't sure why and maybe it'd be great if I can have slightly more space for the tiny pantry as water tends to overflow as the kettle boils. Nevertheless, these are minor things, it didn't affect my experience at all!

Thanks to Alessandra at the front desk for her fantastic service and hospitality. The room she moved us to was outstanding. The bed, toiletries, towels, slippers, everything was superb quality. Housekeeping staff were absolutely fantastic, and so was bartender Luigi at the American Bar. Alessandra and Mandy at reception, and also the man at reception on the day I checked out, were all fantastic. Basically mostly everyone was fab, and the concierge guys are as usual absolutely fantastic, especially the man in the bowler hat (sorry did not get a chance to ask for his name) is such a lovely man. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The only letdown at this beautiful hotel was the food was not that good. I was presented with a lemon in muslin netting that didn’t have any juice when I squeezed it, and when I opened up the muslin to see if it was the fabric, I found the lemon had totally dried up and at the stage where it had nearly gone off. Even when this was happily replaced, it should never have been served to me by a professional kitchen at a top London hotel. The poached eggs at breakfast also had white liquid oozing out, basically raw / not cooked well. When pointed out, the man in the suit told me that I should know not to order poached, and to order hard cooked next time LOL!!! The kitchen just did not seem very good. Whenever I made any simple special requests, such as asking for the juice of half a lemon in warm water, or when asking for no chilli in the ribs, the kitchen did not and could not accomodate these basic, simple special requests at all.

The location was fantastic and the whole flat is very well equipped. The two bathrooms are a bonus and very useful when you have more than two adults in the flat which is a good size and spacious. The Conservatory and outside seating area is really relaxing at the end of a day. It is also less than a ten minute walk to the town centre and main shopping area.

Sometimes the electronic blinds did not operate properly but this was not a problem to spoil our enjoyment and stay.

Very welcoming host. Funny as hell. Great location for us (close to Royal st George’s) and a short drive to Sandwich with quite a few restaurants and pubs. For two persons in a family room the rooms had plenty of space as I got a wide double bed on my own😀. Nice bathroom. Perfect breakfast. Easy to park in the street.

The staff were beyond lovely. Good selection of food, snacks and beverages. Room had a big window, which was lovely and a good view. Room was satisfyingly minimalistic. Shower was a good temperature. Big shout out to Olga (night staff). She was extremely friendly and welcoming and was lovely to talk to.

Noise Noise NOISE!!! I was opposite the lift - horrible. The road noise also horrible. Menu was very poor in the restaurant. Empty vending machines. Defo would not stay again.

The location 5 minutes from Polperro harbour is excellent.

Given directions up to our room, nobody showed us to it. Access to room was up 2 flights of steps which are in need of a sweep - first impressions. Breakfast was very basic for the price.
