Spacious apartment, location was great. Host instructions were great, very detailed and clear, providing very helpful information around the area and the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. No issues with parking during our stay. The main bedroom's bed was comfortable. Kitchen facilities were good although note that cooking condiments like oil, salt and pepper are not provided. Very close to Tesco supermarket which is handy to get any supplies you may need.

The ground floor apartment we stayed in needed a bit of attention. There was a lot of white dog hair in the sitting room, on and under the pillows on the sofa and the carpet. It was not ideal as the hairs stuck to all of our clothes. There was also a stale smokey smell in the sitting room which was unpleasant. Some of the chairs needed fixing due to overuse. The matress in the smaller bedroom had a sunken dip in the middle, which was uncomfortable to sleep on. These are easily fixed with a little attention to cleaning and maintenance, and it would be a superb apartment

The room was amazing, very large and the bed was very comfortable. The Townhouse is based in the town centre so central to wine bars and restaurants. The bathroom was good sized and I loved the shower. The room was clean and tidy. Staff on site were very helpful and informative.

Breakfast is only pastries, jam, muesli, greek yoghurt and fresh orange. We stayed in the Dalton Room which was directly above the bar so lots of music. We were fine with that as we had two late nights, however something to bear in mind if you prefer an early night. For us ladies no area to put make up, we had a very large mirror on the wall but no desk for make up items.

The location was great, the room was lovely, they gave us a room with a small kitchen as we weren’t having breakfast which was really kind of them and even let us check in early. Thank you

Shabby Shepherds far exceeded our expectations. Welcoming hosts, comfortable bed, incredible views and lots of little extras that made us feel at home.

Smaller than it appears on photos. 61 steps to room on top floor. A bit dated and needing upgrade. Price not matched by quality - but that’s not atypical for this kind of location in London.

Kitchen badly equipment and oven from Jurassic period, bed very uncomfortable mattress needs renewing sofa bed like a brick to sleep on. Wall so thin you can almost hear the conversation of the people next door and very expensive for what it was. No lock on toilet door.
