Just a big step up from my usual travelodge for not much more, lovely hotel, great, helpful staff. Decent central location, trams and buses right outside. Been a few times now. This time they even held my luggage after checkout, so I could go and wander the city before heading to my next destination. Checkout at 11, and wandered back about 4pm to collect luggage, no charge to store it after checkout, they were happy to assist me.

Price varies, but understandable, don't think I can justify £150 this time, even tho it's worth it, but any time it dips under £100 I'd go for it. More me being a pauper than an issue with value.

Great value for money, excellent service, felt very safe for couples or lone travelers, free tea and coffee all day, especially on an early start. Parking right outside the hostel, you only pay till 6pm and hen it is free overnight. Great place.

Could not pick fault with the hostel, especially with the price you pay. For someone like me that is used to tenting this was like 5 star treatment.

Very comfortable bed in a studio apartment with amenities. Very convenient location in the city centre, & high up enough to avoid the noise. Good view of the city. Check out time is reasonable.

New hosts: made a mistake on their listing, so I had to pay more after full payment was already made; directions on the listing showed a different part of the city to the listing address (I had to message to check with them first); they never told me the flat number, but luckily the receptionist worked out which one it was. They called me by my surname in correspondence. Food label stickers around the apartment telling guests things they can't do isn't a good look - maybe provide a 'house rules' sheet in advance instead? This could also include things like how to turn on the hot water - there was none when we arrived (quite late in the evening - unavoidable, as check-in time is quite late), so we had to have cold showers that first night.

Location was great, in the main street with all the restaurants/bars and the train station. No problems with the personnel, the contactless arrival went smoothly

Very noisy, even if the people in the other rooms where not making much noise, you could hear the doors, toilets flushing and you could feel every vibrations of people walking. The door would vibrate a bit everytime and only had a small lock so it didn’t feel very very safe. Don’t know much about the prices in Balloch this season but I felt that the price was too high for such a small and not that comfy room

Everything. I booked and paid for a room. Took over an hour to check in because they needed to change the locks on the room. Put our stuff in room went out for a few hours came back and there is 3 men laid in our beds. I got left with a 2 year old roaming streets in Blackpool at 2am because the landlord was no where to been seen and switched his phone off I spent 3 hours in the property trying to sort things out. I’ve ended up in hospital with chest pains and my anxiety is through the roof DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. It’s full of drugs it’s dirty so they 3 men did me a favour
