The accommodation is accurate to the photos and is a really nice place to stay if you are planning to spend a few days in York. The host also kindly gave us lifts into the centre on both days, which was appreciated. The hot tub was a great touch, and the facilities (kitchen, TV etc) were all great.

The host was really helpful, but also I would have appreciated a little more privacy at times, particularly when using the hot tub late at night. There was a misunderstanding over whether we were supposed to turn off the hot tub after use, which took away from the relaxation a little bit. I also felt, as a slightly taller individual, that the bed wasn't overly comfortable, but this is a minor point in an otherwise great accommodation.

Loved the decor inside and all the chandeliers, staff were amazing , breakfast was outstanding, hot buffet was hot and not cold like most places, lots of variety too.

The outside paint work needs a little work, I know you shouldnt judge a book by its cover but first thoughts were not very good, but once inside completely changed my mind.

It’s a small thing but there wasn’t enough toilet paper for a weeklong stay and no laundry detergent. Way and cheap to buy but inconvenient to buy last minute. Picking up and returning keys to a separate location was also a hassle. Finally I underestimated the work with 3 storeys (6 flights of stairs) with a child luggage and removing our rubbish

This was out of the hotels control but the Leeds one way system is terrible and driving to the apartment's wasn't easy the first time, be careful of the new one way system.
