Our room hadn’t been carefully checked before arrival. A previous guest had left vape pens down the side of a chair & there was no tv remote. Staff were keen to apologise & fixed the tv issue.

The standard room was outdated which was find in itself as matched photo. Room 107 However the bathroom was substandard for a hotel of this rating. The fittings from a shelf were still on the wall and we caught ourselves on this a few times. The shower panel didn’t fit properly and could not be secured in place so water poured onto the floor when showering . There was a notice on the wall instructing guests to ensure the panel was secure but this was not possible .

Informed them that the WiFi did not work on day 1,, no action taken, , told them the cooker does not work on day 2, no action,, told them the boiler was faulty day 2,, no action. This is a business and if the customer has a complaint then it should be resolved as soon as.. the property is in a signal dead spot so WiFi is a necessity, if the WiFi was down at their own property I am sure that they would have been onto the supplier every hour until resolved. We had no hot water for 3 days , again this is a business, surely they have boiler cover and someone should have been out the first day it was reported. With the cooker , there was 4 of us stopping and there was only 3 rings on the cooker working, the main part does not work,, again reported but no action. I am sorry to write this review as the property itself is great, but if you advertise WiFi, cooking facilities and hot water and provide none of the above and you don't at least try to fix the issues then it's the only thing I can do. Let's hope they fix the issues before the next people visit
