Good spacious rooms for our group of 3. Good location, 18 min walk from the city centre. Ample free parking for 2 cars in the front of the house. Could check in from 4 -10 pm which was good for us as we arrived in Inverness at about 9 pm. Whole house for us. Okayish clean.

Dusty sofa. No milk, sugar, tea bags, coffee etc in the fridge/rooms etc. Dustbins were not completely empty when we arrived. Heating was not on, house was a bit cold at night, asked the owner on WhatsApp - he told us how to do it but could not figure it out. I found it and switched it on myself. Ensuite bathroom's light was blinking all the time.

Easy self check in process, meaning we were not tied down to a specific check in time. Provided facilities (lounge area, plates etc) to let you bring food/drink in with you. Accommodation was above a pub, so we could go for a drink after our meal.

Super hotel with an emphasis on quality. Super rooms, comfortable beds and reliable housekeeping. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice and friendly staff. Pool and sauna etc well maintained and very clean. Highly recommended hotel.

A nice hotel, superbly located with nearby parking. Room was spacious, breakfast was tasty. Bradley on the reception desk was very helpful and we did the bus tour he recommended. Would visit again.

For the price paid I would just have expected a few things to be better, eg the shower gel in the bathroom was almost empty and hard to get anything out. The body lotion dispenser didn't work. The push up electrical outlet socket on the desk wasn't practical for plugs that have a wiggly bit on the end like hairdryers and straighteners and was difficult to keep up!. There wasn't a plug on both sides of the bed. All small niggles but I'd expect there to be more attention to detail.

Good centre-based hotel to stay in if on a budget! The room was nice, modern and clean but quite small (didn’t mind it had no window, it was comfy). No downsides for the price, would choose again :)

The building and view is stunning, the bed was comfortable and I had a great night sleep. I liked the history of the building and the atmosphere.
