As a solo traveller, the check in was very simple and everything was as expected. The room was perfect for me, with provided towels and slippers. The location is nice too and I was able to use the bus to and from Cambridge Town centre. As a place to stay almost last minute for me, it was definitely worth the price staying here

The only things I didn't really like was that the desk was a little smaller than expected, and the walls were thin. However these didn't pose that much of a problem for me.

Beautiful hotel, welcoming staff, spacious bedroom, comfortable, big tv and AC/Heating were easy to control. I loved the breakfast. I loved the fact that the bar opens until 11pm weekends. I just wish I had the time to use the spa facilities.

Our room was not cleaned and our towels were not changed. We had to ring room service to bring new towels. This was a little disappointing. The toilet didn’t flush well. The bath tub had old stains.

I loved the continental breakfast delivered to the room every morning. The croissants were lovely and crumbly and fresh. And fresh milk every morning to go with your choice of cereal. Dinner portions were huge and very tasty.

Lovely qaint hotel. Like stepping back in time with paintings and art on every wall and book shelves and cosy leather sofas. Very clean rooms. Very welcoming to dogs . Loved it

The cottage is smaller than it looks but is cozy when inside. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet and pillows were luxurious we were very surprised.

We couldn't find how to use the heating, there was no guide to explain how it worked. The bedroom had a massive damp issue which was a big black mould mark on the wall. And to have no WiFi in the place just let it down more.. To pay the amount we paid we'd have expected the cottage to have had no issues.

Fantastic location, interesting heritage building. Dinner was lovely, great menu and fabulous food.

Bedrooms are tired, facilities dated and could cleaner. Breakfast was just a lacklustre bog standard buffet, nothing wrong with it but disappointing.
