Lovely lodge, kitted out with everything we needed and lovely hosts. Lovely addition of wine and cake on arrival. Beautifully crafted lodge with stunning surroundings. Lots of helpful information for local beaches and amenities as well as a selection of games to enjoy. Lovely peaceful site with farm animals to view and walks close by. A lovely cafe and play barn just round the corner that serve excellent coffee too!

Closer to other residents than we anticipated so had to be mindful of our dogs as the outdoor space is shared (we have nervous dogs, so our fault for not realising this). Fencing around the property or perhaps just at the back would have been beneficial to us, but just a personal preference for our circumstances, no fault of the hosts at all.

Room was very comfortable, a little worn in places but very clean and really appreciated the excellent tea tray and water replenished each day. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfasts very good. Pool and sauna and steam room great. Games room was good too. All staff were really attentive and friendly.

Lockers in the spa area needed attention and a few things such as juke box in games room not working but none of these really spoiled a wonderful stay.

Everything was nice and clean and smooth check in and out very spacious and very close to the beach rating it 10 out of 10 would recommend it to anyone with family

drinks were expensive , and the breakfast was also too expensive at £18 , we went to the local hungry horse , half a mile away and got an excellent breakfast for £4.99 , its a very nice hotel but also very expensive for food and drink

Very basic accommodation, bathroom with singing taps that could only be turned off with a towel. Mattresses in poor state. Worst of all is a food rating of 4. We witnessed waiter hooking out slices of Kingsmill bread and stacking them with bare hands after also clearing tables.
