Excellent service, every single member of staff was friendly and keen to help. The hotel had just the right amount of Old World charm and a very pleasant ambience. Excellent Dinner and Breakfast. Very good car parking. Luke the barman was a font of local knowledge as well as an excellent barman!

Almost everything the appartment was well equipped in a great location next to the waterfall and only 50 yards from the the New Inn that offers goodhome cooked meals

The grounds were lovely and the room was comfortable. Also, the bar was nice to spend an evening in having a glass of wine and chat.

The main restaurant where we had our evening meal felt like a cheap chain restaurant but was not priced that way. The breakfast - for the price I would expect to be seated and served our hot breakfast rather than a seat and serve yourself buffet(with cold eggs) and having to wait in line for the coffee machine. The buffet was constantly running out of items and the staff were running around trying and failing to keep up. Have had much better organised and less chaotic breakfasts in much less expensive hotels.

Great location and the apartment is very spacious, bright and well equipped. There were ample toiletries provided.

A lot of properties we stay at have a few basics provided e,g, some tea/ coffee to get you started; salt/ pepper etc. There was nothing here at all. Also, some information about the local area would be useful as would instructions of how to leave e.g.recycling etc. Had to request a second bath towel as only one was provided - this was delivered the next day.

The first night of our 2 night stay was in room 7 which was above the kitchen. There was a noisy kitchen extractor fan outside our window which went on until late and started early next morning (the hotel provided ear buds in the room). We asked to be moved to a different room for our second night and the staff dealt with this quickly and helpfully.
