We had an excellent breakfast and the young lady cooking the breakfast was superb. She was helpful and assisted us in getting around the area. The room was quiet and generally quite spacious with two very comfortable beds. We did hav a seaview as advertised. We were given a bottle of water each on day one but not day 2.

We did not realise there was no lift (this needs to be made very clear when advertising the place). Thankfully, the young man at reception took our bags up. The water pressure was quite low but they did warn us about this. The room was supposed to have a desk but there was none and only one bed had a reading light. The shower was over a bath but no rail to assist getting in and out. We were only given one very small tube of shower gel between the two of us for the two days.

The breakfast was excellent. We chose what we wanted the night before. The room was a suite, with a separate sitting room and an excellent bathroom with fluffy monogrammed towels! Lots of hot water. We had some washing done for us.

We couldn’t get the heating to work. It would have been useful early morning.

Beautiful location with stunning views! The manor was quaint, very clean and provided high quality service by some really lovely staff. We had such a good night’s sleep. The vegetarian breakfast was so delicious and high quality.

There was very little we didn’t like. Some minor things to feed back for improvement were: dedicated hand soap would be nice (and more hygienic) to have & maybe some spare loo rolls could be kept in the bathrooms. We needed an ironing board but the team at the Manor was very prompt to bring one up to our rooms.

Quiet, well cared for site and very clean mobile home within a few minutes walk of a friendly village with very good facilities. This was my 3rd year out of 4 at Fenlake (and I don't even fish!)

Bed very springy and uncomfortable

Proximity to train station
Negative section of review
Very disconcerting when you walk into a room and see sets of foam earplugs lying on top of the towels on the bed. It did not take long to understand the reason why as you could hear the underground trains running continuously. Additionally, the tea bags were soaking wet as they were in a drawer below the kettle, and clearly water found its way down.

Very central location
