- “The modern retro look in room and the amazingly decorated corridors made this place my favorite hotel. I had the luck of getting an airside room and could see nighttime operations on the runways. Certainly a place an AVgeek would love. The small touches like postcards in room and great amenities like shaving razor and cream were much appreciated. The "secret" rooftop terrace where you could sit and watch operations at the airport 24/7 was wonderful. Staff were all lovely - one manager was even greeting people outside and leading them in to the lobby.”

Stephane can give you for very cheap price. The old town, the Big Buddha and many beaches you can ride in 20 minutes. I will go back to Stephane for sure. The best is you can see the sea from your bed. The morning is beautiful. The best place for breakfast is only 50 meters from the house. Many good restaurants are 5 minutes by walk.”

  The location is great, parking can be arranged within the local vicinity of the guest house - 3GBP/day if you need to park here between 09:00 and 18:00. The room was functional and had everything I needed for my stay. To order breakfast was always perfect too. Most importantly, the hosts were both great. Very friendly, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to talk with. Nothing was too much for them.

  The apartment is in a great location in the centre of town. It is easy to check in and out, and it was very clean. The shower was also really great with lovely toiletries. Communication was very good. We had a slight problem with missing bedding for the sofa bed that was quickly resolved, and the owner couldn't apologise enough.

  If you are a light sleeper then it is quite noisy, but this is to be expected at an apartment in the middle of town.

  Our room was great and had everything we needed. I loved the quirkiness, and steeped in history it was modernised and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff super helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely consider returning again soon.

  There was no breakfast. It was a "hostel" situation. My room was a compact single ensuite room, very good value for less than £50pn. Modern communal kitchen, dining room & small lounge. All very clean.

  Steep stairs with a narrow tread. (My feet are size 8) Constant traffic on the main road when the window is open. Small room might be difficult for a larger person (I'm size 14 female, 5ft 4ins.)
