Check in at the bar was very quick. The room was fine, but with a bath and hand shower rather than a shower which we would prefer. There were some random long black hairs in the bathtub and the slow-close toilet seat would not stay in the upright position. There was an unlocked door to an adjoining twin bed room, which happily wasn't occupied. Dinner was very good, with good service from the young staff. Breakfast runs from 7.30 - 9.00 a.m., which was too late for my wife who had to be at work in Newton Abbot by 8. She was however able to have granola and fruit so all was not lost. My cooked breakfast later was very good. Ample on site parking too.

Some confusion about getting a breakfast before 7.30, but that sorted itself out. Minor cleanliness issue with the bath but otherwise the room was spotless. The toilet seat was not functioning properly although perfectly usable. We felt the door to the adjoining room should have been lockable from our side.

Good location for the event we were attending. We booked a budget room and had an unexpected upgrade to a suite with sea view on arrival. Beautiful gardens and we made use of the leisure facilities during our stay. Using the pool, jacuzzi, gym, stream room and snooker room Furnishings alittle tired and outdated but all clean and tidy and fit for use. Bed was comfy. Nice quiet room Had a fabulous breakfast and evening meal at the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful definately would use this hotel again.

Lovely room, with modern large bathroom. Lots of privacy as there is no one else on the same floor. Right at the top of the main road of Glastonbury. Even though our room was over the road we didnt hear the traffic. The bed is very comfy with an electric blanket. Joan is always around and contactable, and only too happy to supply you with anything you require. The room is large with a sofa and TV. There is no parking provided but we easily found space on the nearby streets.

Jayne was a wonderful host who made every one feel welcomed. Breakfast was good. If you are doing the SWCP., take the 31 bus from Woolacombe as the walk up to the B&B is on the main road and the drivers are nutters. We would stay here again.

The property have so much potential but the pictures don’t show you how dirty the house is and that they don’t have hot water at all when is 6 degrees in London. And also that you can’t use the heater to warm up the house.

There was no hot water at all during the five days we were there and the owner never mind to helped us solving the problem. We had to talk with a neighbour that explained us that the owner of this property has a debt and that’s why there isn’t hot water. When I texted the owner with that information he gave me a code that was expired and cancelled and since then he didn’t do anything more to help us. Besides that he even asked me to not use the heater because it was too expensive for him. It’s important to say that we were only at home in the evening and that’s when we use the heater for a while to warm up the house (it was 6 degrees) Apart of not having hot water and not being allowed to use the heater, the house was very dirty as you can see from the pictures. So disappointing! In more than ten years that I’ve been using booking this never happened before

The evening meals were disappointing. The sea bass I can get better in London, better cooked, and half the price. It was too dry and salty. Curry and madras potatoes are not a good combination - rice would be better. My fault for not noticing this on the menu, but I didn't feel confident that this could be changed in the kitchen at the last moment.

Unfortunately the bathroom in the room I was in had an unfortunate smell, possibly drains. As I was only staying one night I didn’t bother to say anything until I checked out. Ryan on reception gave me a slight discount which was appreciated and said he would get it sorted. Breakfast itself was ok, but only one rasher of bacon! I’d have thought 2 minimum would be the norm
