The hotel location is highly convenient for accessing the central area, like Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria Station, etc. It only takes about 10–12 minutes by bus. Additionally, numerous food shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The accommodation includes a kitchen equipped with a stove, tea, coffee, sugar, and milk provisions, as well as utensils, dishes, glasses, mugs, pots and pans, a fridge, and a washing machine. Additionally, there's a small dining area with a table and chairs.

I enjoyed everything, and my accommodation at the hotel was pleasant.

Was very easy to get to and close to the high street with restaurants/shops. The staff member who checked me in was helpful and kind, and the staff member who served me breakfast the next day was great too. The room had an extremely comfy bed and perfect shower. The hotel was very quiet and I was uninterrupted by any noise.

My only criticism is the keys to the room were a bit of a fiddle. Thought I had locked the door but it took a moment to make sure it was locked. Also, there wasn’t any bottled water in the room but that wasn’t a bother really as I had my own.

The hotel is a large old house located in the centre of a village just outside Taunton. It is well decorated and maintained with and old-world feel that makes it very welcoming and yet provides all the modern comfort and necessity you would expect.

Very new hotel and the decor is fresh and inviting - warm use of colour throughout. The mainly young staff are lovely and keen to be friendly and helpful. Interesting design of bedrooms and robes/ slippers provided.

Lighting a bit of an issue as I often find - multiple switches but still not light enough in areas where you need it to be i.e. dressing table area. Breakfast was fine but bit limited in selection on buffet and I really did not like the extra £2 charged to have avocado on bread with a poached egg - I cannot see the justification for this within a £16 breakfast, so I ended up with nothing from menu. Some comments say guests like the aromatic smell pervading the hotel - I found it a bit much personally. However a very nice hotel overall.

We had a warm welcome and attentive thoughtful service throughout our stay. All very friendly and informal. Lovely rural location with a footpath to Dovedale over the road. Dinner in the restaurant was good.

The room was ridiculously hot! The window didn’t stay open. The heating was on full blast and we couldn’t turn it off. You couldn’t swing a cat in that shower
