Spacious, comfortable, well equipped . About 25 minute stroll to Cockington via quiet roads and lanes. Could return via boardwalk down valley. 5 minute walk to railway station for Teignmouth and Paignton, but about 30 mins to the harbour for ferry to Brixham

We had a wonderful experience staying at Monika's home. She is exceptionally friendly and always ready to help, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The house itself is lovely, impeccably clean, and very peaceful.

Quite a walk from the centre. Building works going on, but only told after booking a non-refundable room which felt expensive and full four-star price. First room was very dated and not at all worth the money, but to be fair to the staff they moved us after talking to them. Will be nice when works are done, but was a bit disappointed overall. Nice staff though - they’re worth a mention.

Everything just looks dated. From leaving the lift onto the third floor everything was like I'd stepped back into the 80's the carpet was clean yet dirty (tired looking) and the room doors are all dark brown wood panels. The room itself was also in need of a revamp. It was comfortable and although clean there were some dubious worn in stains and the phone had a layer of dust on it. I know for a fact the housekeepers were hard working as I saw them beavering away every day so it must just be the proximity to the main road and dustiness. That's the other thing, being on the main road it was quite noisy, a police car went past sirens blaring and it sounded like it was in the room even though I was on the 3rd floor.

Room was a bit shabby,carpetnot fitted at edges,poor shower over bath struggled to get into it,mattress not very comfartable highly overpriced for what you get ,wouldn't recommend it unless desperate
