Great staff, lovely bar ( if the weather had been like an actual summer then the courtyard looked great too ), beautiful rooms that were quiet, functional, modern and comfortable. The diner is excellent for supper and a light or heavy breakfast, great coffee and fantastic staff.

The only niggle for me is the air conditioning which goes down to 19C ie heating. I like to sleep in a cool room and the window doesn't open wide enough to allow a draft ( safety reasons I suppose ).

Very informative, efficient staff who were able to arrange a taxi for us for the next morning. Excellent bar, with quick service. Good location for Hampden. Excellent value compared with holiday inn at Riverside and kings park hotel in Rutherglen.

Location was convenient. The best thing was the shower pressure but even getting this to the correct temperature was a challenge.

It was cold, I could find no way to turn any thermostat up There was a general feeling of grubbiness particularly in the bathroom where silicone had been used messily and there doors that were water stained. The mattress on both main beds I could feel every spring and they were painfully un-comfy. I didn't sleep due to horrific back and joint pain. Couldn't wait to get out of it. The Tv's were old with no ability to screen mirror from other devices. There were bedside lights but no sockets to plug them in, so couldn't use them, nor the fan as I usually would have during the night. Glasses in the cupboard were dirty - gritty to the touch and so not clean at all. There was a horrible clinical feeling all around with large disabled handles everywhere and stark lighting from white plastic fittings that looked out of place. The towels didn't smell of anything fresh, and like the bedding had a slightly damp and musty smell to them. There were no basics. Not even a cup of coffee could be had in the morning. Parking was difficult due to multiple other cars parked before the property itself sticking out (it should be pointed out that this is not the only property - there are several adjoining properties). Altogether a mediocre experience if that - I doubt I'll be staying again unless there are no hotels available nearby.

Had to order and pay for breakfast on arrival.. we were only given a miniature shower gel to use between two people, which was not enough so only one person could shower ..the breakfast was terrible I ordered scrambled egg on toast and it came with cheese slices on it?? Staff were not overly welcoming or friendly.

Not clean in the corridors a lot of money to stay. Only one bar for golfers and hotel stay.
