The apartment is in a good location for access to the city. Lots of bars, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The apartment itself is decorated to a high standard. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The host left clear instructions and helpful information about the apartment and locale, and was very helpful when contacted. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed on a bank holiday weekend so there was some loud music from a bar close by late one Saturday night but this was during a local festival event so some disturbance was to be expected. It did not affect us too much, or spoil our stay.

Everything was brilliant, the room, the spa, the food… we stayed with 2 young children who were made very welcome, great the spa had times children could visit, have recommended to family who are looking to stay and would definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Bed were not stable, moving or sliding with a body movement- perhaps something could be improved- there is no fitted carpet so the bed legs should be somehow fixed to the floor

Location is really close to the historic area of the city. The room we ended up having was good size and with good amenities.

We never actually stayed in Brentwood house. When we arrived at Brentwood house, we saw that it was a literal construction site. The woman said that our room wasn't affected but everything right next to the room was being renovated - the floors were covered with dusting sheets, you could hear drilling, carpets being pulled out, dust everywhere. There was no way we would be staying there. It was literally outside our door. We initially wanted to get our money back and go elsewhere when the woman who runs Brentwood house and also the guesthouse next door offered us a room next door. So we stayed there. Also, the parking outside the guest house is only for the time of check-in until check out. If you arrive early, you can't park, and after 10am (check out time) you also cannot park there.

On arrival the caravan looked fine, if a little tired.

The fridge had the last guests’ food left in it. The toilet was backed up and full of stinking brown waste. It was unusable. Other facilities were basic. We contacted the owner who gave us a number for the previous owner who apologised for not fixing the problem. We could not stay there and had to book somewhere else at very late notice. The owner, Denzil, has not responded to any calls or messages from us or Booking.com and no refund has been offered despite a polite request. Very disappointed to be left out of pocket and to have such a negative experience.
