We came to attend a concert at the O2. The location and the hallway connecting to the O2 was a massive help. The young girl who checked us in was so delightful, asking us question and engaging in conversation and all staff we encountered were very nice. The room itself was well-kept and clean. Would definitely come again.

The room was very clean. We were attending an event in troxy, so very convenient location for us. There was a very nice cafe close by too. The room got all the facilities you need such as coffee machine, dish washer, washing machine, hairdryer etc.

Breakfast was good, staff were helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable overall. Hotel is in a very central location so easy to get to everything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in Edinburgh

We booked a twin room. When we got to our room it was a double bed and a pull out sofa. Whilst this was more than adequate for our stay. My son didn't find the sofa bed very comfortable.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The flat was modern, clean and as advertised with good facilities. One of the beds in particular was super comfy. The property was in a good location to visit local attractions.

The first night we had no sleep at all. The traffic was very loud at the front plus the seagulls made noises throughout the night. At 6am we could hear the people in the flat above walking around. The worse thing however was the noise from around the back that first night. At around 3am dogs started barking like mad, people shouting and a police siren. It felt a bit scary. The next morning a Police car was outside next door for quite some time. Obviously something had happened that night. When we went downstairs the next morning the main back door entrance was open/unlocked which made me feel nervous (I am guessing people who use the other flats had not locked it behind them). The front door did not feel secure enough as there was a big gap down the side despite being locked. The tv didn't work despite numerous tries. On the third day we purchased some new batteries for the remote and then it worked fine.

Big studio, huge bed. Two tv screens made it very convenient. The lobby is amazing if you are working remotely, very calm and you can also have some privacy. Good breakfast.

The location was ideal; it is very handy for getting into the centre of York, especially using the bus that stops directly outside the hotel.

Whilst our room was clean, it was definitely tired-looking. Everything just appeared a little faded and worn; for example, the sinkhole in the bathroom was very old, scratched and rusty. It was fine for one night but, given the cost (£155), it was disappointing. I've stayed in cheaper hotels that have been brighter and more welcoming.

Convenient for the Lowry Theatre. Clean, modern, nice staff. All the things you would expect were good.

Finding it was a nightmare. There are 2 Holiday Inns on Salford Quays. I ended up walking to the wrong one. Both hotels told me it happens all the time. The description and directions to both hotels need to be much better. Guests shouldn't need to spend time on this.
