Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the centre of Aberdeen and 15-20 minutes from the Esplanade. There was a short walk to the train station and bus stops that gave us access to practically everywhere in the City. We made full use of Stagecoach Day Rover tickets! We enjoyed the view over the harbour watching the vessels coming and going. The accommodation was very comfortable for 2 people with all the equipment we needed, easily adjustble heating in each room and a strong wifi signal. The hosts were very responsive. The property was ready for us at first check-in time despite the fact that we had only made the booking when we were waiting for our flight 4 hours earlier. We would definitely stay at Castle Terrace again

Location was good with free parking available, the hotel was clean and all staff we came into contact with were very professional and friendly. Our room was a bit tired & worn but we travelled with 2 dogs so wouldn’t expect the best room! Given that, the room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and overall we were happy. We were too late for a meal in the restaurant and didn’t want to spend the night searching a new place for decent food so ordered room service, the food arrived quickly and while not the best meal we’ve had, it was good enough. Breakfast was nice, again not the best but set us up for the day travelling again

Unfortunately, there wasn't anything there which I liked as I was so disgusted by the conditions of the room and shower room

Where should I start? The room was unclean, marks all over the walls, door, carpet, and bleach stains on towels plus carpet had a cutout piece and skirtingboard is coming away from the wall with a big gap. Don't start me on the shower room as that has fungus growing from the skirtingboard along with mildew along the outside of the shower with rust and dirt marks. This had not been cleaned to a living standard, or not been cleaned at all in weeks. Lastly the front of the apartment has weeds overgrowing. This place should not be allowed to advertise rooms as it is a health hazard

The staff were terrific. TV problem and was fixed immediately.Very central for what we wanted.

The bed and couch were very uncomfortable, hard to work washing machine due to instructions on dial worn off.

Room was clean/tidy and adequate - similar to any other hotel stayed in - nothing out of the ordinary - a little disappointed in view of price paid as thought this included Breakfast (only realised day before checking in I’d made a mistake and booked room only so breakfast would be extra) Facilities around the hotel such as bar and dining area were clean and tidy Due to a hiccup during our stay we were offered complimentary breakfast (in addition to other compensation- over an issue that was resolved quite quickly) which we had on our last day. Again for the £20 pp charge was extremely disappointed with breakfast - again similar to other hotels with half the price - felt very underwhelmed If I’m honest I preferred our stay in Titanic Liverpool which was far superior and which I couldn’t help comparing too 🥺
