The location close to London City Airport was fabulous. A short walk and we were there. A nice welcome by Paolo and polite service by his colleague. It was quiet with a comfortable bed. It was convenient for us. A no frills hotel, clean and comfortable and suited to the airport traveller.

If I was travelling as a lone female, I would have felt a little vulnerable walking between the hotel and airport at night. Everything about the hotel was good.

It was in a lovely location and it was very clean. The member of staff called Liam was fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was great and the room was clean and well stocked. It was a nice flat walk to the town centre.

I was very disappointed at the size of the room. My bedroom at home is bigger than this room and that's without the sloping ceiling. The bathroom was tiny and there isn't room to lean over the sink to clean teeth, we ended up doing that over the bath. The bed was very hard, no spring in it at all and it ended up hurting my back. This room was not very good value for money.

Breakfast in my room was on time and very nice. Dinner was delicious. Staff good. Room very comfortable. Slept well.

As it is a beautiful old building there are no lifts to the rooms (my room) lots of stairs and a bit of a maze to get to, had I more luggage, it would have been a struggle. Car parking was limited so ended up parking in an adjacent car park. I couldn't get hold of reception via the phone, so gave up in the end. I reported it on check out.

My mother was also with us who is gluten free when I asked the hotel prior to the visit if the restaurant did gluten free I was told there was that option available when we turned up for our dinner the only option available was a salad and a steak and when asked about the burger was told there was no gluten free rolls. When we turned up for breakfast the suasages were raw which no one in the party of 5 ate and my mother had a option of a gluten free roll for breakfast which wasn’t available during evening meal

The local was just a little too isolated, we were on a motorbike and couldn’t really walk anywhere as the hotel is right on the motorway - but it did’t spoil our stay

Nasty place to stay, Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. AC don’t work, stains on the carpet in the hallway and bedrooms. It looks like puke. That place really need a complete revamp. I’m surprised they are allowed to trade.
