Location is outstanding- set well back from main roads in the middle of nowhere (altho town isn’t too much of a walk) and overlooking the Tay. Booked General Wades house so room was very spacious with nice living area and two bathrooms.

Room was looking a little worn and could do with a refresh- balcony area decking was loose. Pool and jacuzzi were out of use during our stay but in fairness hotel let us know beforehand. What wasn’t mentioned was a wedding party on the lawn right in front of the hotel that played loud music until midnight! And as we were leaving, looks like the same happening tonight! Not good if you are looking for a quiet getaway…😡

The location is excellent, cute neighborhoods and access to central London. Great view, room is stylish and comfortable. Great that there is fresh milk for the 'coffee' and an empty minifridge for guests to use as they like.

Staff was not too welcoming. Coffee in the room is bad. A better version of instant or a Nespresso machine would be more pleasing.

Wedding venue absolutely stunning and all staff were great - friendly and approachable. Water pressure in rooms amazing and breakfast nice the next day.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable and pillows very flat (bring your own). Tiny bit of mould around the bath.

I get why the price of the rooms are the price they are because of location, but personally didn't think my room was worth the amount I paid, simply because it was nothing like the pictures shown and wasn't up to expected standards

No toilet roll, no pillowcases on the bed, the tv was leaning against the wall. Staff unprofessional, breakfast was poor. Room wallpaper was peeling off. There was only 1 chef so it took 2 and a half hours to get a starters and a main.

The receptionist gave us our key went into our room only to find a girl in bed asking us to get out of her room. Then we were allocated a top floor room in the attic space which had a double bed against one wall which we had to move over to enable us to get in and out of bed without one of us having to climb over the other. For a couple in our seventies it was an effort to climb the stairs and the room we had looked nothing like what was on booking.com.
