We have stayed in this hotel several times with no qualms. It is superbly located in a lively area with a spacious and clean room. It has ample facilities such as an ironing board, iron, blankets, electric fan & bath. It is a very old building so has strong signs of decay, particularly from the outside but don't let that be a deterrent.

The hotel seemed well ran with polite staff, clean and located in a ideal position. Stayed in a very small single room...must admit it needed updating but it was adequate...clean, hot water, lots of tea and coffee, serviced daily and a reasonably comfy bed...cannot fault the breakfast, lots of choice, everything cooked well and hot..very nice..

It is in a superb central location in a beautiful town. The hotel has a relaxed feel; nevertheless it is run to a high standard. The evening meal was brilliant - perfectly cooked and imaginatively presented. I love the fact that you could see into the kitchen!

It was adequate for a nights stay. It was generally quiet but please see comment below. Otherwise, the owner was very polite and accommodating, the room small but adequate for one night’s stay.

There was some shuffling around of furniture or something downstairs at around 0430 which went on for ages and was highly annoying. As a light sleeper it meant I didn’t get a good nights much needed sleep. I assume this was not a guest as it sounded like organised chaos.

The location was great in the centre just needed to get a bus to Oxford street past the river. Properly nice and neat, has hair dryer, overall comfortable stay.

Little not happy about the sink size since it’s really tiny and water kept spilling over the edge, but since the bathroom is quite a smaller size overall it’s understandable. As well as the water pressure of the shower was very weak.

Literally everything. The room was in the basement, it was smelly and the bathroom was dirty. There was a man wandering around the corridors in his underwear. The door didn't lock properly. I felt unsafe.
