Positive section of review
The space, the whole barn was amazing and very comfortable. The hot tub, there was a games machine, lights and music, it really was amazing! Sliders and robes were also provided. Host was fantastic and couldn't do enough for us! Would love to return, location was lovely and a short walk away from shops etc.

There was a lack of coat hanging facilities and perhaps more places to dry towels after shower would be useful.

The beds were comfy and the room well equipped. The bathroom was massive (although lacked a bath). The swimming pool became a firm favourite for us. Within walking distance of the beach and main parts of the city.

The buffet breakfast was too steep (especially for a family of four when the kids aren't going to eat that much). The restaurant doesn't open until later so (with kids) we normally eat at 5pm so had to dine out.

I liked the location a lot and the room had plenty of space compared to other hotel rooms in London. The decor and amenities were very nice and elegant. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel and can recommend it.

Upon arrival into my room, I found there was a fairly large piece of broken glass on the floor. Thankfully I did not step on it and saw it in advance, but this could have been harmful to others or children. If you are sensitive to noise, it might not be the best as you can hear loud music till late.

Staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Laura(?) in reception), food was very good. Location was stunning! Lovely walks along the riverbank.

My room was at the back of the cottage and looked out over a back yard that was a bit of a dumping ground, but that is only a minor quibble. My friend's room wasn't ready when we arrived at 6pm, but I have to say Laura (who was excellent by the way) sorted it out very quickly.

The house has seen better days. Heavily stained living room carpet. Rubbish in the back garden. Insufficient crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. The downstairs shower was not working with broken controls and it was not very clean and, a mattress propped up behind the sofa.
