  Our stay at the Croft Mill exceeded our expectations. it was spotlessly clean, we were very generously given local milk, orange juice and full breakfast basket and we had a lovely balcony. We were upgraded which really made a difference as we had a lot of space and a bathroom and a bedroom each. Very well maintained and run. Only quibble was a very ancient TV and satellite service which should be upgraded.

  The staff were all friendly. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.

  We didn't have breakfast as we felt it was too expensive. There were areas of the room that had accumulated a lot of dust. We had to call down and ask for an extra towel on 2 days as there were 3 of us in the room and only 2 sets of towels. We also had to ask for extra supplies for our tea and milk. Only one lift was working throughout our stay and on the Friday night the other lift was out of order too. We were on the 4th floor and had an accessible room because we are 3 older ladies with a variety of health conditions so going up all those stairs was not a pleasant experience.

  The room itself was very gloomy needs painting curtains were a disgrace, and the windows were filthy. Bathroom damp black areas. No toiletries except for a tiny piece of soap, which is poor in this day and age.
