The location was great, which was the main reason that we booked the hotel. All the staff were polite and friendly. We ate in the restaurant/bar both nights, and the food was nice. The room was a good size, although the bathroom was a bit small.

On arriving at the hotel, it didn't look welcoming. The paintwork looked drab and really needs to be redone. The general areas were clean, but it all looked tired. Our room was clean and a good size but really needed redecorating. We had some wallpaper that was peeling away from the wall. The theme continues in the bathroom. It was clean but looked tired, and it also had no toilet roll holder It is a lovely building in a great location, but it looks tired and a bit scruffy.

The room was nice, the view better still, the spa was lovely and we had a really nice time. The best and most amazing thing was the breakfast, which I honestly think was the best I've had anywhere!

We struggled to find the reception, which is understated to say the least. Just a random desk in a niche. Staff were ok but not great. Not sure about the decor either, but that wasn't a problem.

Location was great, walking distance to city centre and train station. The host has thought of everything little thing to make us feel at home, pantry is well stocked and toiletries all provided.

Great location close to shopping, restaurants, metro and Hyde Park . Staff were friendly and we were able to leave bags when we checked out to collect later.

The room was fithy marks everywhere on bed sheets and windows and even the floor , the water from the sink had a awful taste, the bathroom was so tight I couldn't even move to wipe my bum. Will never go here again
