The location is just beautiful. The cabins were right across Loch Lochy. We sat and looked at the loch all day thru our window/ balcony. We booked a cottage and it was just perfect. Since we had a dog, there was a goodie bag for the dog in the cottage with treats, a ball and some poop bags. This was a great touch to the stay. Breakfast was really good. There were lots of board games available at the cottage. We ordered food from the restaurant and they delivered at the cottage. The presence of a spa at the property is also a brilliant addition. Overall, if you are staying here, you don't have to go anywhere else during your stay and can just relax at the property itself.

Stairs were a bit steep, and the sat nav doesnt quite take you to the pub you need to go a bit further up the road and youll find it easy enough.

Ideal location. To M11 . Lovely old quirky building. Would benefit from a bit of a spruce up Staff working at bar & breakfast were very polite and accommodating.

Prior to arrival I phoned ahead and checked that I would be able to access my room around 1am as I was working. Upon my arrival I double checked and was told no problem just buzz the intercom and they will let you in. Only to find myself stood outside the building for 15 minutes at 1am with no reply to the intercom or phone when I called with no means of access. Luckily for me another guest could hear my knocking and came down and let me in. This my room was ok. Could do with a good clean on stairs & hallway.

The hotel is tired and in need of a major refurb and my room was not clean. I even found smelly pants and trousers and used incontinence pads in my bedside cabinet. My en-suite was dirty and cramped, I could hardly fit in the shower, the carpets were dirty and heavily stained. Upon packing to go home I discovered mouse droppings in my holdall and signs of mice eating my cardboard within the holdall.

The location is great if you're watching a show/concert

Check in was from 3 but the room wasnt ready, reception rang to see how long it would be and miraculously it was ready. The room was spacious for the two of us but there were exposed wires next to the bed (looked like something had come off the wall, perhaps skirting) along the floor so if you had a little person staying this would not have been acceptable. Rooms are dated. Lampshades are stained marks on walls etc. They need a little TLC/updating. The bathroom was ok. Again needs TlC/updating. The shower head looked dirty and looked like it had that red/pink mold on it. We stayed for a concert but would not stay again. We thought there would be noise from fellow concert goers but this was not the case they had moved into town. The noise came from delivery drivers at 4am??? The noise dragging pallets and the shouting was awful. The room was so hot we had to keep the window open, as you cannot control the temp in your room yourself, which added to the noise. No air con no heating. Cant comment on breakfast as we did not have. Over it was ok but will not be back

U book the the hotel then get told you got to pay £10 for parking when booking.com takes ya money it’s a normal drive why should we pay when we are staying there, staff wasn’t happy at all when we moved the car to end off the road,
