Quirky small hotel with boutique feel. Nice bar and breakfast areas, lots of art and pictures everywhere. Clean and warm, nice breakfast, very friendly and welcoming staff. Value for money. Very modern bathroom. Nice view out to the sea and coast from window in our room. It is an old building so have to expect some original features such as high ceilings and uneven floors but that adds to the quirky atmosphere. We paid for parking and glad we did as made it really convenient as street parking more challenging depending on time of day. Would stay again.

Can hear some things in adjacent room/s so if in time more soundproofing could be done that would be good. However was quiet when we wanted to sleep so that was fine. I think the hotel is in the process of improving all of the rooms and areas in the hotel but is very acceptable as it is now.

Amazingly friendly staff: Rakeev, Saurabh and the team are just the most friendly, professional, and welcoming hotel team you could hope to find - they have an incredible 'can-do' attitude and are one of the main reasons we return to this establishment.

Stupid lighting design in room meant sleep was difficult. All rooms have a continuous flashing green light above bed in smoke detector. bad enough but just about ok. All rooms have motion sensor lighting under the bed that turns lights on when you go to bathroom. This cannot be turned off. Mine turned the light on every time i turned on my side. Manager said perhaps i had untucked the sheet. Oh my bad .. i changed room at 2 am and the next room was ok. Asked for a refund and got offered 20% not enough considering the night i had. Apart from that it’s a nice place and staff were cool but obviously would never stay here again for this reason. Shame
