      We had travelled to see Eric Clapton at the arena which was why we had chosen this hotel as it was close by both the arena and the railway station. Staff were friendly on arrival and our room was large and clean with a big comfy bed. Not much of a view but very quiet. Breakfast was lovely - buffet style. The bar area was nice and not over priced also served snacks.

      Our stay was great apart from a very grumpy woman in charge of the restaurant at breakfast time. Was quite rude and abrupt.

      The convenience of location was good for us . The option to have or not have breakfast Quite although stayed during the week.

      The shower was very temperamental despite letting staff know. The flow of water was terrible 😕 Breakfast was disappointing,although the food was good. Would have liked refills of coffee and tea .limited menu choice ,no banana or forest fruits available. I needed to request a grated apple on porridge and got it on yoghurt.

      For the cost of the room I expected better. Breakfast was an additional charge. Also there were some things that needed attention in the room. A loose lock. Wallpaper peeling up and not all the lamps worked. Reception were pretty clueless on check in. I had 2 rooms booked and they didn't understand and repeatedly told me I was checked in despite me saying but you have only given me keys to one room and showing my reservation clearly with 2 rooms. As time was against it was very frustrating having that language barrier.

      It was very dirty and smelly and you had to find your own parking not like on the listing . It was self check in and felt very dirty and unsafe in there . Worst place I’ve ever stayed an I travel a lot .
