I recently had the pleasure of staying at Emerald Nest and couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The private ensuite was a fantastic touch, offering both privacy and convenience. The shared kitchen and lounge areas were well-maintained and provided a great space to relax and socialise with other guests. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the smart Roku TV, hairdryer, and iron. The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the train station and the picturesque seafront. Free public parking was an added bonus. I'll definitely be returning!

Breakfast was o.k, plenty of choice and regularly checked and re- filled. Asked for a poached egg and when it arrived it was swimming in water. When drained and added to my breakfast meal, I cut it only to find it very undercooked. It was exchanged fir me but the 2nd one was exactly the same. Most of the staff were friendly at breakfast. One lady who was in a suit was very miserable. She never acknowledged us or even have a smile on her face and she was hovering to grab your plates as soon as you had put your cutlery down. She made me feel quite uncomfortable actually.

We upgraded our room before arrival, following an offer via email from yourselves. Was expecting something special, but when we first went in the room we were very underwhelmed! The room was small and dark and had a "funny" smell, unlike in the corridors etc that were pleasant. The toilet flush was wobbly and had to be pulled twice before it would work, and the extractor far didn't work. We reported this to reception. The pillows were not of a good quality, were lumpy and the pillow cases did not fit. We found our drink tray in a cupboard, but it only had 1 of lots of things, like coffee pods or hot chocolate and just one pack of snack biscuits, even though there had been 2 of us in the room! When we next passed reception we mentioned this to reception, who kindly gave us a top up. The next day however, we noticed that they had been removed again. I know that these are just silly little complaints, but they all together spoiled our experience.there As a disabled visitor, I realised that the whole building was quite difficult to negotiate due to the amount of stairs to get anywhere, even the entrance to the reception had 3 steps.i really have no idea how I would have managed if I was in my wheelchair. I dont even think I would have been able to get around the bed in our room it was so small and forget about the pool and gym areas unless you went around the outside of the building because of the steps!. The whole building is a no smoking zone, yet we saw people stood outside the reception doorway smoking and it was a horrible smell to have to go through to get in or out.. To be honest, we have stayed in a Premier Inn which had much nicer rooms

Excellent location for RHS Wisley, where I visited. A characterful hotel with Very friendly staff Light and very good decor in the restaurant with a lovely conservatory area and outside eating area

Although my stay was very comfortable I was rather disappointed in my room. The room I stayed in right at the back near the car park, although having clean bed linen seemed rather dark to me with inadequate lighting. Overall it had a rather worn feel with some stains on the carpet and some crumbs from a previous guest, and a loose floor tile in the bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent. I needed to be near Porthmadog, and Cricieth is only ten minutes away. I appreciated the little things, the attention to detail, and the little extras.

I regretted I had brought a heavy bag with me, as the room was on the second floor.

The instructions we received about how to get to and access the property were excellent. The apartment had everything you might need. Even fresh milk in the fridge.

One or two items in the apartment appeared not to be working, i.e., the heated towel rail & extractor fan in the bathroom. Although we received instructions for arrival, we didn't get any about leaving, so we just left things as they were when we arrived & hoped that was right.

It was having a renovation while still open and the noise was terrible so we went out most of the day to avoid this and also the restaurant had a limited choice of meal and i thought was over priced .
