The owner was extremely helpful and came out to help us with our luggage. We were given twin beds as requested. The room was comfortable with all amenities provided including a small fridge, The location was very handy for a quick walk to the centre of the town and York Minster, Free on-site parking was provided.

From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with great reception staff (special thanks to Anna on reception) our room was spotless large TV with sky channels the bed was very comfortable and the shower is powerful had an evening dri l in Jack's and again staff were very attentive and so polite 😀

The flat is nice and spacious and was absolutely perfect for two people. Parking was great as off street which was important for us. Everything was in a good working order (freezer, fridge, washing machine, microwave…) and coffee/tea bags were also available. We didn’t make use of the outside space.

We could sometimes smell the drains in the bathroom. Unfortunately no shower gel or shampoo was provided. We couldn’t workout how to switch on the lights in the living room - but likely to be a user error! Small lights worked okay.

I liked the location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was easy access to parking and walks for our dogs. We were only charged an additional £10 per dog and they allowed us to bring 3.

Not keen on the stairs, they were a bit steep but I do have a dodgy knee! Although car was fine it had to be parked on the main road.
